Hello Surigao del Sur

One of their bucket lists of the year is Surigao del Sur. The place where people can visit the amazing places and lots of creation by God. I can really say that the place is "WOW, SO WOW!"

It is one of the tourist spot here in Mindanao, where billions of people dream to visit the beautiful place that Filipino people proudly presents to other country.

Enchanted river

From the highway, you have to travel about 7 km before reaching the area. It's not an easy ride, like you're in the middle of nowhere, but once you reach it, everything is worth it. Nobody has ever found out how deep is the River. One of the reasons it is called enchanted is that no one has ever reached the River bed. One story that is being repeated by locals is how a fisherman was able to catch an extraordinary big fish while looking at it under the water. He was able to catch it & so he brought it above the water, but he was dismayed upon looking at the fish in his hand, which turned out very small. The water of the River is very cold. The staff reminds every swimmer to wear a life vest when swimming. Food, like shrimps, prawns, lobsters, fishes can be ordered in the restaurant near the River. They cook such delicious sea foods at a very low price. There is also island hopping outside the River. "the blue water that blows your blue mode" the moment you've seen the blue water of the river, it will enchant and mesmerize you. It amaze you so much that nothing else you want to do but feel the water in your skin.

Bislig Baywalk

"Great place to hang around with place" A good place to chill with your friends while enjoying barbecue, balot, isaw and other typical Filipino street foods. Provides a great view of the ocean during fullmoon. Beware of sitting too close to the water though, else you might get a dose of some saltwater!

Tinuy-an Falls

An amazing view that has a majestic view...I really like the adventure we have going to the next level of the falls...so steep & slimy...yet it gives satisfaction and thrill. This ain't the Philippines' version to Niagara for nothing. Tinuy'an Falls, 95 m wide and 55 metres (180 ft) high, is also known as the country's widest falls. The falls cascades in three tiers and rainbow appears between 9 AM to 11 AM (unless it rains, of course), perfect for your selfies. I have been here countless times and I still couldn't get enough of Tinuy'an. Best time to visit the place is during the wet season (more water, more fun). Bamboo rafts are available to take you to the bottom of the cascades for you to enjoy a fun Tinuy'an shower. From Bislig, you can rent a habal-habal to get to Tinuy'an in half an hour. Entrance fee is P50/person. Fear your Fears. A great water fall experience"

International Doll House

A doll museum is the least one can expect to see after visiting the nearby Enchanted River and Tinuy-an Falls. After taking almost 300 steps uphill (and pay an entrance fee of P30), you get to enjoy a room filled with unique dolls (in various shapes, forms, and sizes) purchased by the owner from her trips around the globe. They also have a restaurant that has a spectacular view of fishing villages along Bislig Bay.

We’ve been there a day after new year’s day
